Vodafone makes the Call

Vodafone, the large British telephone operator is contemplating selling its small 25% stake in Polish telco Polkomtel. Polkomtel is currently owned by five companies. It is worrisome however that three of these companies have hired banks to help advise them on selling their stakes. The Vodafone news could cause the other firms to start selling their shares as well. There have been no reports yet of potential buyers.
