Canada regulator OKs BCE's buy of CTV, (TSE: BCE)

Canada's telecom and broadcast regulator approved on Monday telecom company BCE Inc's (BCE.TO) C$1.3 billion ($1.34 billion) purchase of broadcaster CTV. As part of its approval, the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) said BCE, which operates under the Bell brand, will be barred from offering exclusive content on mobile devices or online at least until an industry review is completed later this year. The CRTC's approval of the purchase had been widely expected. ($1=$0.07 Canadian) (Reporting by Alastair Sharp; editing by Peter Galloway)
