TonenGeneral to purchase most of its shares owned by Exxon Mobil, (NYSE: XOM)

Japan's second largest refiner TonenGeneral Sekiyu KK said on Sunday it will purchase 99 percent of the shares in ExxonMobil's (XOM.N) Japanese subsidiary, ExxonMobil Yugen Kaisha, for 302 billion yen ($3.94 billion).

Exxon Mobil Corporation (Exxon Mobil) is a manufacturer and marketer of commodity petrochemicals, including olefins, aromatics, polyethylene and polypropylene plastics and a range of specialty products. Shares of XOM fell by 1.08% or $-0.94/share to $85.83. In the past year, the shares have traded as low as $67.03 and as high as $88.23. On average, 18795300 shares of XOM exchange hands on a given day and today's volume is recorded at 15978521.
