Danfoss raises offer for Sauer-Danfoss, (NYSE: SHS)

Danish industrial group Danfoss A/S increased its offer to purchase out the rest of Sauer-Danfoss Inc it does not already own, valuing the company at $2.83 billion. Danfoss offered $58.50 per share for the 24.4 percent of Sauer-Danfoss it does not own, up from its $49 per share bid in November.

Shares of SHS remained unchanged at $54.12. In the past year, the shares have traded as low as $33.16 and as high as $55.95. On average, 107578 shares of SHS exchange hands on a given day and today's volume is recorded at 3900.
