Taco Bell, fast-food rivals push toward mobile ordering, (NYSE: MCD)

Taco Bell on Tuesday debuted its mobile app that allows customers to place an order, customize their food, access special offers and pay from their phones. The move from the chain owned by Yum Brands Inc comes as restaurant chains, including McDonald's Corp and, seek ways to use mobile technology to drum up more business and speed up service times.

McDonald?s Corporation franchises and operates McDonald?s restaurants in the global restaurant industry. Shares of MCD traded higher by 0.13% or $0.12/share to $92.13. In the past year, the shares have traded as low as $89.34 and as high as $103.78. On average, 5996410 shares of MCD exchange hands on a given day and today's volume is recorded at 1759456.
