The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1000 GMT on Friday: ** Shanghai Jin Jiang International Hotels Development Co Ltd has agreed to acquire Europe's Groupe Du Louvre for up to 1.21 billion euros ($1.41 billion) from U.S. investment firm Starwood Capital Group, as Chinese hoteliers expand their global footprint.** Depomed Inc said on Thursday that it had agreed to pay $1.05 billion to acquire the U.S. rights to Johnson & Johnson's Nucynta opioid pain drug franchise, giving the smaller company a new flagship product expected to significantly add to revenue and earnings.

Depomed, Inc. (Depomed) is a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on pain and other conditions and diseases of the central nervous system. Shares of DEPO fell by 2.22% or $-0.4/share to $17.65.
