Tyco Electronics agreed to buy out all of ADC Telecom's (ADCT) shares at $12.75 earlier this month. The company is now extending the expiration of its offer to midnight on September 20th, New York time. ADCT is approximately 50% in cash after Tyco's takeover offer, therefore Tyco is getting quite a deal on the buyout. Tyco specializes in electronic components and network solutions in a wide array of industries inclusing the automotive sector, telecom, aerospace, and defense.
