Research In Motion recently acquired Documents To Go's Data Viz. The company released this statement:
"RIM has acquired some of the assets of DataViz and hired the majority of its employees to focus on supporting the BlackBerry platform. Terms of the deal were not disclosed but the transaction was not material to RIM in the context of RIM's financial results."
The software enabled spreadsheets, word documents, presentations, and more. RIM currently bundles the free version on their devices, however the full version can cost iPhone users up to 15 dollars. What RIM will make of it's newly aqcuired asset is yet to be seen.
