Thor Industries Takeover Chatter Comes to Light

Thor Industries Inc. announced today that they will be buying out Heartland Recreational Vehicles. The deal will be made up of $100 million in cash and 4.3 million shares of stock, totaling approximately $220 million as Thor shares moved up 10% to approximately $28 on the news. Thor Industries already specializes in recreational vehicles, but the merger with the private company will bring new synergies into the equation and increase revenues, based on Heartland's historical performance.
