Hewlett Packard completed its acquisition of ArcSight Inc on Friday. ArcSight designs and develops security software programs. The deal went through for a total of $1.5 billion paid by HP.
In September HP had put a bid in for ArcSight, after which point the security sector heated up and became the center of attention. HP is beefing up its security division to combat computer viruses and fraud.
