Shares of Yahoo! were up over 5% Tuesday on rumors that private equity firms are interested in the company. Various firms were rumored to have interest in Yahoo!. The New York Post said that KKR is interested in taking the company private.
After Microsoft's failed attempt to takeover Yahoo! in 2008, Andy Kibbens thinks there is no more hope for the company. He mentioned "Yahoo! is a dog. It has clearly lost to Google in a major way and there is no coming back".
