Rogers wants a piece of the Maple Leafs


Rogers communications is in talks with the Canadian Teachers Pension Plan to buy part or in whole of their 66.6% stake in the professional hockey team Toronto Maple Leafs. The deal is reported to be nearly $1.3 billion according to the Business News Network (Canadian Business news television channel). Rogers communications is a quadruple play service provider providing television, internet, telephone, and mobile services to Canadians.
