Air Lease files for up to $100 mln IPO

Air Lease Corp plans to raise up to $100 million in an initial public offering, the aircraft leasing company said in a regulatory filing on Friday. The Los Angeles-based company said it intends to use net proceeds from the offering to fund acquisition of commercial aircraft and for general corporate purposes. Air Lease, in which Wilbur Ross's WL Ross & Co, Ares Management, and Commonwealth Bank of Australia hold stakes, did not reveal the number of shares it plans to sell or their expected price.
