Banco PanAmericano (BPNM4.SA), a Brazilian lender that was bailed out in November, is holding talks with rivals over a possible sale as concerns mount that growing losses could lead to another rescue. No definitive accord has yet been reached with any of the bidding parties, the bank said in a securities filing on Friday. PanAmericano still has no final estimate of the losses that triggered the bailout, said the filing, signed by investor relations director Celso Zanin. The filing was a response to Valor Economico newspaper report that PanAmericano's losses exceeded previous estimates by about 60 percent. Central bank officials found an additional 1.5 billion reais ($903 million) in losses, mainly from a flawed booking of provisions for bad loans, Valor said.
