Cypress Semiconductor Corp's (CY.O) fourth-quarter results beat estimates as it continued to gain share in the rapidly expanding mobile touchscreen market. Net income for the quarter ended Jan. 2 was $9.1 million, or 5 cents a share, compared with $2.9 million, or 2 cents a share, last year. Excluding items, the company earned 25 cents a share, while analysts were looking for 24 cents, according to Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S.
