The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals involving European, U.S. and Asian companies were reported by 0400 GMT on Friday. Chinese regulators gave approval to the banking joint ventures of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co and Morgan Stanley, bringing the banks a step closer toward operating securities businesses in China that they, and other banks, have long sought.
