Fresh from a deal that boosts its presence in the U.S. Hispanic market for the next decade, Mexican media giant Televisa is now turning its attention to Spain. Televisa (TV.N) (TLVACPO.MX), the world's leading producer of Spanish-language content, and its partner La Sexta have held talks with different players aiming to merge the Spanish company with a bigger media conglomerate ."We have been in talks with different players in the Spanish market to merge La Sexta with them," a Televisa source told Reuters on Friday. "The idea ... is to be part of a larger group that can compete more efficiently."
