Ultimate Software Group Inc (ULTI.O) has hired an investment bank to review a possible sale of the company, which sells web-based computer programs for managing human resources, said three sources familiar with the situation. The Weston, Florida-based software maker has hired Lazard as its banker, said one of those sources. A spokeswoman for Lazard declined comment. Ultimate Software Chief Financial Officer Mitchell Dauerman declined comment, saying it is company policy to never respond to rumors and speculation.
