3M Co's (MMM.N) growth in China is providing a double lift to the U.S. conglomerate, both inaccelerating revenue growth and offering profit margins higher than its overall average, an executive said. The company, whose consumer and industrial products range from face masks and filtration systems to LCD screens and home cleaning products, generated about $2 billion in revenue in China, or about 7 percent of total company sales. China's contribution will rise to 9 percent of total sales by 2015 and 11 percent of its operating income, 3M chief financial officer Pat Campbell told a Barclays Capital industrial conference on Wednesday.
