Canadian Industry Minister Tony Clement will make a brief statement on Monday about the London Stock Exchange's (LSE.L) bid to merge with Canadian exchange operator TMX Group (X.TO), an official said. Clement will speak at around 1.45 p.m. eastern (1845 GMT). Under the terms of the Investment Canada Act, Clement has to review any foreign takeover worth more than C$299 million ($302 million).
