Talks between Italy's Eni (ENI.MI) and Brazil's Petrobras (PETR4.SA) over the sale of the Italian oil and gas group's 33.34 percent stake in Portugal's Galp (GALP.LS) are floundering on price, a source close to the matter said on Wednesday. "Talks with Petrobras are very close to breaking down because Petrobras is offering too little compared to what Eni is asking," the source said. Eni declined to comment on the state of the talks except to say that Petrobras was just one of several parties interested in the stake.
