IBERIABANK Corp has agreed to acquire bank holding company OMNI Bancshares Inc in an all-stock deal, valued at about $40 million. The transaction -- expected to close in the second quarter of 2011 -- will immediately add to earnings, excluding a one-time pre-tax charge of $15 million, the company said. IBERIABANK expects to save $9 million before tax by the second half of 2012 and estimates internal rate of return for the transaction to be in the high teens.
