Egypt's Orascom Telecom (ORTE.CA) has joined Nordic operator TeliaSonera (TLSN.ST), a Polish media mogul and a number of private equity firms in a race for Polkomtel, Poland's top mobile group by sales, sources familiar with the process said. Private equity funds TPG TPG.UL and Blackstone (BX.N), are working on a possible joint bid. These firms along with Permira, Providence and Polish businessman Zygmunt Solorz-Zak, have received the investment memoranda -- detailed sales documents for prospective bidders - according to the sources.
