RPT-Credit Suisse hires head of Internet banking, (CSGN), (NYSE: JPM), (NASDAQ: GOOG), (NASDAQ: EBAY), (NASDAQ: YHOO), (NASDAQ: AMZN)

Credit Suisse (CSGN.VX) has hired the former head of global Internet research at JPMorgan (JPM.N) to become the Swiss bank's head of Internet investment banking, according to a memo obtained by Reuters. Imran Khan will report to David Wah, global head of technology and Bryce Lee, head of technology, Americas. Khan is expected to start in May and will be based in San Francisco, according to the memo. During his nearly seven years at JPMorgan, Khan was the lead equity analyst covering Internet and U.S. media stocks including Google Inc (GOOG.O), eBay Inc (EBAY.O), Yahoo Inc (YHOO.O) and Amazon.com Inc (AMZN.O).
