Three NYSE execs keeping posts after D.Boerse deal, (NYSE: NYX)

NYSE Euronext's (NYX.N) general counsel, chief operating officer and global head of technology are set to retain their positions after the planned merger with Germany's Deutsche Boerse AG (DB1Gn.DE), according to two people familiar with the plan. An formal deal announcement could be made by mid-morning (Eastern Time) on Tuesday after the companies' boards vote, the sources said. The acquisition of the Big Board parent company is expected to close by year's end, although it could slip into 2012, the sources said. One of the sources said there is now an "agreement in principle on the broad outlines of the deal." (Reporting by Jonathan Spicer and Philipp Halstrick, editing by Maureen Bavdek)
