Ventana Gold Corp (VEN.TO) said on Monday it agreed to accept a sweetened bid of C$13.06 per share from AUX Canada Acquisition, which is controlled by Brazil's Eike Batista. Ventana had earlier spurned a C$12.63 a share bid from AUX. The company had said it was in talks with other interested parties. Batista, Ventana's largest shareholder with a 20 percent stake in the company, last week said he had no intention of raising his offer for Ventana, which was due to expire Feb. 15.
