Air France-KLM prepares ground for more buys-paper, (AIRF), (LHAG)

Air France-KLM (AIRF.PA), Europe's largest airline by revenue, is mulling a new organisation that would enable it to make more acquisitions and better integrate current joint ventures, La Tribune reported. The airline's chief executive, Pierre-Henri Gourgeon, revealed the idea in an internal speech in January, the newspaper said in a preview of its Thursday edition. "Other projects of convergence ... are underway to allow us to pursue consolidation," the paper quoted the CEO as saying. "The group has to be able to welcome new companies like its two big competitors (Lufthansa (LHAG.DE) and British Airways BAY.L). "We have to have a more international vision of our organisation."
