Giant private equity firm Carlyle Group [CYL.UL] promoted Peter Clare on Tuesday to be co-head of its U.S. buyout group and Adam Palmer to head its global aerospace and defense sector team. Clare was earlier deputy head of the U.S. buyout group and head of the aerospace and defense sector team. Palmer succeeds Clare in the aerospace and defense role.
