Network equipment maker Finisar Corp said it offered to buy Ignis ASA in a deal that values the Norwegian company at about $102 million, as it looks to beef up its laser optics business. Finisar, which acquired about 33 percent of Ignis shares in the last two days for about $26 million, said it will pay $76 million for the remaining stake. The offer price of NOK 8 per share represents a premium of 58.4 percent over the closing share price of Ignis on Monday.
