3M Co (MMM.N) said on Wednesday it bought a Colorado company that wraps cars in printed graphics. The terms were not disclosed. Original Wraps Inc custom-prints images on 3M films for auto dealerships, enabling automakers and retailers to personalize vehicles without carrying a large inventory. Chief Executive Tom Stemple will stay with the company, which will become part of 3M's commercial graphics business. "The trend and desire for graphics to personalize everything, especially vehicles, is expected to continue to grow exponentially," 3M said.
