Italian mobile services provider Buongiorno (BVIT.MI) has agreed to buy a business unit of domestic rival Dada (DA.MI) for 28.5 million euros ($40.81 million) as it aims to target mobile Internet users abroad. Buongiorno said on Tuesday it would buy 100 percent of Dada.net, which reaps 40 percent of its revenues in North America and sells online music that can be played on mobile phones. "North America is where Buongiorno and Dada.net complement each other the most," Buongiorno Chief Executive Andrea Casalini said in phone interview with Reuters after the announcement. Casalini said the acquisition would allow the companies to combine Buongiorno's mobile technology skills with Dada.net's Internet expertise.
