U.S. banking group Citigroup (C.N) is moving executives to Brazil as part of a broad push to accelerate growth in rapidly expanding emerging economies, Chief Executive Vikram Pandit said on Wednesday. The New York-based bank is focused on tapping emerging markets to take advantage of growth in trade and capital flows, Pandit said, adding that Brazil is a particular hot spot as the country's economic boom offers a wide range of opportunities. "Trade and capital flows between emerging markets are growing exponentially and we want to grow there ... We look forward to Brazil's growth," Pandit told a small group of reporters at the bank's Brazil headquarters in Sao Paulo. "The question is how fast Brazil can take advantage of all growth opportunities."
