CORRECTED - BP offered with Rosneft to purchase out Russian partners -CEO, (BP), (TNBP), (ROSN)

BP (BP.L) offered to buy out its Russian partners in TNK-BP (TNBP.MM) in conjunction with Rosneft (ROSN.MM), its CEO said, adding it would not however offer significant shareholdings in itself to the partners. "We have offered them participation in the Arctic. We have offered cash, we have offered participation to TNK-BP in international ventures and we have even jointly offered, with Rosneft, a fair offer for their company," chief executive Bob Dudley told shareholders gathered at the company's annual general meeting. "We are not going to offer large amounts or significant shareholdings in BP," he added. Earlier on Thursday BP extended by a month the deadline to complete a $16 billion share swap deal with Kremlin-controlled Rosneft which has so far been blocked by BP's oligarch partners in its Russian venture TNK-BP.
