Diversified aerospace and defense component maker Curtiss-Wright Corp's renewed its long-term agreement with Boeing's commercial airplanes unit to manufacture products for the aircraft maker. The agreement gives Curtiss-Wright exclusive rights to make products including the 737 and 767 trailing edge flap actuators, 747-8 leading edge flap actuators and 777 flap position. Curtiss-Wright has been providing Boeing with aircraft parts for over 90 years. The company, which makes components used in aircraft, submarines and missiles, had said in February the aerospace market continued to be positive, while announcing market-beating fourth-quarter results.
