Boutique investment bank Evercore Partners (EVR.N) said on Thursday it is hiring away Raymond Strong from Goldman Sachs Group Inc (GS.N) to advise companies in the energy sector. Strong, who was a managing director in Goldman's Global Natural Resources Group, will join Evercore as a senior managing director.
