Lee LeBrun, co-head of mergers and acquisitions in the Americas for Swiss bank UBS AG (UBSN.VX), will retire in May to spend more time with his family, a UBS spokeswoman said on Friday. LeBrun shared the title of co-head of M&A with Cary Kochman, who was promoted in March to the new position of global co-head of M&A. Kochman joined Liam Beere, based in London, who is the other global co-head of M&A. Kochman retains direct oversight of Americas deals, but UBS is expected to name an Americas head of M&A at some point. Bloomberg earlier reported LeBrun's move.
