CORRECTED - TAKEOVERCHATTER-UBS' Bourkoff tasked with reversing talent bleed, (NYSE: UBS), (UBSN), (NYSE: C)

UBS AG (UBS.N) (UBSN.VX) has seen a revolving door of U.S.-based investment bankers in recent months, and it's counting on Aryeh Bourkoff to staunch the talent bleed. Bourkoff, a well-known media banker who had a meteoric rise to the top, took over as head of Americas investment banking at the Swiss firm in March and is expected to hire several bankers to beef up the U.S. M&A team. UBS has seen scores of M&A bankers leave in the last three years as the financial crisis hit the Swiss bank hard and forced it to put unpopular curbs on compensation. The bank's latest high-profile departures came this week, when Kevin Cox, the man Bourkoff replaced, left for Citigroup Inc (C.N) after nearly a decade at UBS, and James Metcalfe, global head of power and utilities, left for an infrastructure investment firm.
