Peltz' Trian takes stake in Domino's Pizza, (NYSE: DPZ)

Trian Group said on Monday that it owned a 9.7 percent stake in Domino's Pizza Inc (DPZ.N), sending shares up nearly 3 percent after hours. The hedge fund controlled by investor Nelson Peltz made its ownership of 6 million shares, or 9.7 percent of the stock, public in a filing with U.S. securities regulators. Domino's shares rose to $24.05 in after-hours trading from their close on the New York Stock Exchange at $23.36.
