The chairman of UBS AG's (UBSN.VX) global industrials group, Kevin Cox, left the company on Wednesday to join Citigroup (C.N), people familiar with the matter said, adding to a wave of departures of senior dealmakers from the Swiss investment bank. Cox had been Americas head of investment banking for UBS since mid-2009, before being replaced in March this year by media banker Aryeh Bourkoff. At Citigroup, Cox will assume the role of co-chairman of global industrials investment banking and work with Strib Koster, currently chairman of Citigroup's global industrials group, two of the people said. The sources asked not to be named since the appointment has yet to be made public.
