Wells Fargo adds new head of West Coast tech M&A, (NYSE: WFC), (NYSE: C)

Wells Fargo Securities, part of Wells Fargo & Co (WFC.N), said on Wednesday it has hired John Jinishian to head up its West Coast technology mergers and acquisitions group. Jinishian, who joins Wells Fargo's growing investment banking group, was previously at Cantor Fitzgerald, where he served as co-head of technology investment banking. Prior to that role, Jinishian was global head of technology M&A at Citigroup Inc (C.N), where he worked for 14 years. Based in San Francisco, Jinishian will report to John Laughlin, head of M&A and work closely with Gerry Walters, who joined Wells Fargo Securities in 2010 to head up the West Coast technology investment banking team.
