Crocodile Gold's board says to hold on Luxor offer, (TSE: CRK.TO)

Canadian miner Crocodile Gold Corp is in talks with Luxor Group for an offer that is higher than the C$121 million ($117.87 million) the private equity firm made in December. The board is also looking at alternatives to the bid and asked its shareholders to defer from tendering their shares to New York-based Luxor's offer.

Crocodile Gold Corp. (Crocodile Gold) is engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development and operation of a group of gold properties in the Northern Territory of Australia (Northern Territory Gold Properties). Shares of CRK fell by 3.64% or $-0.02/share to $0.53. In the past year, the shares have traded as low as $0.32 and as high as $1.49. On average, 1879760 shares of CRK.TO exchange hands on a given day and today's volume is recorded at 1760643.
