Deals of the day -- mergers and acquisitions, (NYSE: BX)

The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1030 GMT on Tuesday: ** Anglo-Russian oil company TNK-BP is set to sign a long-term deal to supply Russian power producer TGK-5 with gas worth up to $6 billion, TGK-5 said.** Private equity firm Blackstone Group LP and LLOG Exploration Company LLC will jointly invest $1.2 billion to strengthen the offshore oil producer's operations in Mexico, the two firms said.

The Blackstone Group L.P. (Blackstone) is a manager of private capital and provider of financial advisory services. Shares of BX remained unchanged at $14.50. In the past year, the shares have traded as low as $11.13 and as high as $17.25. On average, 2641940 shares of BX exchange hands on a given day and today's volume is recorded at 0.
