Temasek not joining Silver Lake in potential Dell buyout -source, (NASDAQ: DELL)

Singapore state investor Temasek Holdings Pte Ltd is not interested in investing in Dell Inc as part of a consortium led by private equity firm Silver Lake Partners, a source with knowledge of the matter said. "It's not happening," the source told Reuters on Thursday, responding to media reports that Temasek is one of the potential investment partners Silver Lake has tapped to join.

Dell Inc. (Dell) is a global information technology company that offers its customers a range of solutions and services delivered directly by Dell and through other distribution channels. Shares of DELL remained unchanged at $12.61. In the past year, the shares have traded as low as $8.69 and as high as $18.36. On average, 26775600 shares of DELL exchange hands on a given day and today's volume is recorded at 366149.
