Deals of the day- Mergers and acquisitions, (NYSE: TMUS)

The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1000 GMT on Tuesday: ** SoftBank Corp CEO Masayoshi Son said company officials are in regular contact with U.S. regulators although he has not met with them recently himself, as his company faces stiff regulatory resistance to a possible bid for U.S. wireless operator T-Mobile US Inc.** Minority shareholders of Hong Kong-listed CITIC Pacific Ltd are gathering to vote on a landmark deal to acquire $36 billion of assets from its state-owned parent CITIC Group Corp, China's biggest and oldest financial conglomerate.

Shares of TMUS fell by 0.64% or $-0.22/share to $34.33. In the past year, the shares have traded as low as $20.30 and as high as $35.50. On average, 4465630 shares of TMUS exchange hands on a given day and today's volume is recorded at 159934.
