American Superconductor Corp , which makes electrical systems for wind farms and turbines, said it would buy Finnish power technologies company The Switch Engineering Oy for 190 million euros ($265.7 million) in cash and stock, to diversify its customer base, and enhance its product offering. AMSC also said it expects fiscal 2011 revenue to be at the lower end of $430-$440 million prior forecast. AMSC said it would pay about $186 million in cash, and rest would be paid in stock. It said the deal would immediately add to revenue.
