Northrop Grumman (NOC.N)completed the spin-off of its shipbuilding unit Huntington Ingalls Industries Inc HII_w.N, the defense contractor said on Thursday. Shareholders received one Huntington share for every six shares of Northrop common stock held. Northrop said it will report shipbuilding results as discontinued operations for the first quarter and prior periods.
