UBS AG (UBSN.VX) named Aryeh Bourkoff, a technology, media, telecom investment banker, as the new head of investment banking for the Americas, according to an internal memo on Tuesday. UBS also named James Hartop and Nick Reid as joint heads of investment banking for EMEA, according to the memo, the contents of which were confirmed by a UBS spokeswoman. Diego Pignatelli was named chairman of EMEA investment banking. In Asia, David Chin will become sole head of investment banking. Matt Hanning has been appointed head of investment banking for Asia Pacific.
