Tycoon Carlos Slim is seeking to buy the remaining 20 percent stake he does not own in Brazilian direct-to-home satellite television provider Starone for an undisclosed amount. Slim's Americal Movil (AMX.N) (AMXL.MX) said in a statement to the Mexican stock exchange that the transaction was expected to be approved in the third quarter of 2011, pending authorization from Brazil's regulators.
