Cloud marketing firm Vocus explores sale -sources, (NASDAQ: VOCS), (NASDAQ: WWWW)

Vocus Inc, a provider of cloud marketing software, is looking to sell itself and has attracted interest from industry rivals and private equity firms, according to several people familiar with the matter.Online marketing company ConstantContact, web services company Web.com Group Inc and private equity firm GTCR are among the parties interested in buying Vocus, one of the people said.The company is working with investment bank Stifel on the potential sale, the people said, asking not to be named because the process is not public.A spokeswoman for Vocus said the company did not comment on rumors or speculation. Representatives for Stifel, Web.com, GTCR and ConstantContact could not be immediately reached for comment.

Vocus, Inc. (Vocus) is a provider of cloud marketing software. Shares of VOCS traded higher by 1.7% or $0.23/share to $13.73. In the past year, the shares have traded as low as $8.05 and as high as $14.18. On average, 201978 shares of VOCS exchange hands on a given day and today's volume is recorded at 829399.

Web.com Group, Inc. (Web.com), is a provider of a line of Internet services for small- to medium-sized businesses (SMBs). Shares of WWWW traded higher by 2.29% or $0.82/share to $36.67. In the past year, the shares have traded as low as $15.58 and as high as $37.72. On average, 583312 shares of WWWW exchange hands on a given day and today's volume is recorded at 544911.
