The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1330 GMT on Thursday:** French media group Vivendi SA said it would enter into exclusive talks with Telefonica SA over the sale of its Brazilian broadband unit GVT, choosing the Spanish group over a rival bid from Telecom Italia SpA. Vivendi will get 4.66 billion euros ($6.14 billion) in cash from Telefonica.

Telefonica SA is a Spain-based company active in the telecommunications and digital services sectors. Shares of TEF fell by 0.63% or $-0.1/share to $15.88.
